“ Was walking around trying to find a good place to eat and happened to come across this place. They were inviting and friendly, spoke some English, reasonably priced and to top it off, the food was delicious. If you haven’t been and you’re visiting this area, I highly recommend it. ”
“ A lovely little restaurant. The traditional food was superb. The staff was also very kind and accommodating for our five year old. Highly recommended! ”
“ Delicious food and delightful service. Loved! We ate here on our first night in Paris. My husband and I brought our moms and we all had the most delightful and delicious meal. The service was incredibly kind and friendly. They were very thoughtful and sweet to my mother-in-law who’s a vegetarian. They brought her more vegetables when they noticed she didn’t eat the shrimp on her plate. Such a touching gesture. I highly recommend. Streak frites, salmon with carrots and green beans, and shrimp with rice were all incredible! We loved it so much we went back the next night! ”
“ Great restaurant. The google photoes collection create an inflated impression of too high french cuisine at first, but the food is actually widely known, but it is just served great and in a unique style. To provide you with a benchmark, we ordered salmon and steak. Deserts were also great. They also have good selection of wines in bottles. Evening was saved and well spent! ”
“ Porte de Versailles best kept secret! Wonderful small scale atmosphere, great traditional French kitchen and very friendly personell. Duck Magret and Duck Foie Gras pair perfectly with their dry white Sauvignon house wine. And in case you are not a fan of French cuisine: try the home made hamburger with artisanale fries and Libanese herbs. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the 15th Arrondissement of Paris. ”
“ This is my first time trying Duck Breast and it was delicious! It was tender and the sauce is seasoned pretty good. They play Olympics livestream on TV so the vibe is great. However the service is pretty slow. ”
“ My wife and two young girls went here for dinner, it was extremely good . The host Ellen was beyond nice and helpful. All the food was excellent i love steak and this was one of the best steaks i have ever had. Its a very authentic French restaurant. I was in Paris for 5 days with the girls and place was the best, only wish i found it sooner. And its very close to the metro stop, use Google maps you will be there in 5 minutes. ”
“ I visited the restaurant for solo dinner and the full course meals was delicious. The cozy restaurant design in the evening gave the meals a more comfortable taste. What an enjoyable evening i have to say. I would love to visit again and try out other dishes next time I'm in Paris again. P/S: The Crème Brulé is super delicious. ”
